Premiers Dinner - Cultural Diversity Week 2010

Sports Without Borders was the guest of honour at the 1, 400 strong Cultural Diversity Week's Premiers dinner. Guests were treated to a lavish dinner, entertainment and a special SWB video presentation.

Premier Brumby opened the night with a speech outlining the Vic Governments commitment to cultural diversity in Victoria.

“Victorians are a multicultural and diverse people. We come from over 200 countries, speak more than 230 languages and dialects and follow more than 120 different faiths." With the Victorian Government doubling its newly arrived intake for skilled workers Sports Without Borders will be as busy as ever.

Sports Without Borders made a DVD presentation, introduced by Minister for Sport and Recreation, James Merlino. The presentation wowed the audience and many people came to the Sports Without Border booth to chat about the SWB initiative with staff.

The Sports Without Borders team was extended on the night, winning the hearts and minds of the audience on the back of the DVD presentation.
