On 27 June 2011, Sports Without Borders and Our Community staged the inaugural National Community Sports Conference at Moonee Valley Function Centre.

The annual SWB conference in conjunction with its conference partner Our Community, provides an  innovative platform to promote Social Inclusion Through Sports (SITS) for groups,  local government and state government agencies, who work in, play or administer sport and/or are involved in the community. The conference focuses on Australia’s disadvantaged groups, including people from: Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), All Abilities, Indigenous communities and women.

The conference's have grown in stature and are now an unmissable event for those involved in community sport in Australia.
